My first research role at Lehigh. An atomic force microscope maps a surface with nanometre resolution, but the result is a flat height map that is hard to read. I turned scans of perovskite solar-cell surfaces into 3-D models and built an augmented-reality view so you can walk around the surface and look at it from any angle.
